Artist Statement

Like most girls I first discovered my love for jewelry as a child playing in my mom’s jewelry box. Such treasures! Making jewelry enables me to “play in a jewelry box” anytime I want. Since my first career was in fashion, I had years of learning to interpret designs and style. It gave me an eye for color and balance, which is reflected in my work. I try to consider the fashion trends when creating jewelry, but not in the extreme. I want pieces that will endure and be lasting treasures. It is my personal goal to create jewelry that will enable you to express your unique style. I find being in the creative process enhances my life; I hope that the results will enhance your life. If you let it, jewelry can be an expression of your soul.
